S2E5: This week on the podcast, Paula interviews Abba Arunga, the co-founder and “vibes creator” of Lava Latte, a boutique Kenyan coffee shop.
After a trip to Senegal, Abba and her co-founder Kagure Wamunyu, were inspired to create a women-owned space that is authentically Kenyan. Though neither of them had any experience in the restaurant business, they were able to tap into a strong leadership team to grow into one of Nairobi’s favorite cafes.
